Felicity Jane // Planner Update featuring Alexis collection

Hello sweet friends!

Today I am showing a look at my planner using the A5 Tabbed Dividers from the Alexis collection. It’s just so bright and vibrant and my planner definitely needed a spring-like update!

The first section is the delicious pattern of rows of hearts. It’s a pretty busy pattern so I layered a striped card and some die cuts on top. I used the big word create because this section is all about my planning for creative tasks and design team work.

To expose some of the simple grid design on the reverse side of the card, I flipped the corner down and stapled it. Then I added a die cut two-toned heart in its place!

The second section is all about goals! I wanted it to be a bold and confident design so I definitely needed to use Alexis herself.

I stamped the grid border from the stamp set (in a blue that is similar to the other blues in the collection) to give her a place to stand. Then I stamped the SAYING YES sentiment and cut it out to place on the grid. I stamped it on white cardstock because I wanted it to stand out against the pattern. I also used the open heart stamp from the Love Note stamp set and stamped off to connect the two hearts.

The final section I am using is for ideas and notes. These pages are sketches of messy ideas and lists and dreams. They could eventually make it into the goals section but for now they are just hidden from my normal everyday need-to-dos.

This divider is simple – only a label and heart a few small embellishments. Just to remind me that this section exists and nothing that goes in here needs to be extravagant.

I did enjoy finishing it off with a little corner treatment using a die cut and a stamp.

Thanks for checking out my updated planner! It’s always so refreshing to add new colors to a space that can get old when you look at it every day!
